Great location, Breakfast was a little disappointing as each day, we were there the Bagels ran out, so option was cereal or Muffins so limited. beautiful area, but not the best time of the year to be in the area. Very little open around the area.
Quaint little place. The Hyannis Room was spacious bright and clean. Staff is so warm, and pleasant. I cant wait to come back
The manager Sandy was great. Very friendly and personable. Bed was very comfortable. Pet friendly too!
I look forward to staying during in season when the pool and fire pit are open, and flowers are blooming. Great proximity to downtown Main Street and catching the ferry to Nantucket.
Lovely
We loved the personal touches - Sandy is a total asset to this quaint little lodging. We felt so cared for with the warm fire, cider and cookies and delicious breakfast offerings in the library space. Thank you
Quick and easy check in, very professional staff. Dog friendly and comfortable.
Nice place
We got there checked in the room. We got had a Jacuzzi in it specifically wanted that room was on the ground floor within an hour. We had to move out of that room because the people that were living above us had a dog and it sounded like it was coming through the ceiling, something should’ve been done about the animal we shouldn’t of had to move out of the room and did not get our Jacuzzi really put a damper on my birthday weekend
Warm and caring staff!
Very warm reception when we arrived late at night. I had an early morning surgery scheduled at the hospital across the street. We got a late checkout time for my spouse and then they invited my spouse to relax in the library for the afternoon with refreshments and snacks. Very hospitable and caring!
Me likey
The comfort bed.
Overall, a good place to stay.
The nicest staff working there! They were so helpful
Amazing
Amazing as usual, It is our staycation away from home (we live 20 min away). A charming place for a couple’s night away if you like a quiet cozy night by the fireplace . Rooms were in perfect clean condition and our room had a partial view of the harbor. Highly recommend!
My friend and I had an amazing time! The hotel was super cute. Great view. We loved the game room with the fireplace and the hot chocolate bar. Shout out to Sandy at the front desk! She’s the best!!
No one at front desk to check in late at night
Nice view of Hyannis Harbor. Short drive to shopping and restaurants.
The room was noisy. The heat clunked off and on all night, could hear the late shower in the next room, as well as the conversation of people passing our room.
Would have been a 5 star rating but the ac/heater unit in our room was so loud it kept us up most of the night.
Very cleanliness and good service
Classic Cape
Came here for a birthday getaway for the night. It was perfect! Small owner feel, beautiful, unique such a nice change from the cookie cutter hotels you find everywhere. The jetted tub was massive and such a great way to relax! The bed and pillows were comfortable and it was hard to get up the next morning. I can't wait to come back for a long weekend to enjoy all the amenities. The service at the front desk for top notch. This is a gem for sure!
Great place to stay.
Loved the property. It was right on the harbor which we enjoyed. We also enjoyed the fire pit on the chilly night. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was too. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again
We were very impressed with the look, our room, it was better than expected, the staff, the view and how it was centrally located to spots we were visiting.
Gorgeous/new/clean!
I absolutely love staying at the Anchor Inn when we get a chance to! The rooms are always so gorgeous and the view is beautiful! I love having coffee on the balcony and enjoying the morning sun!
We had an amazingly relaxing time am be the weather was great.
The location, staff, amenities, and property were lovely. The only thing that we didn't like was that there was a lot of noise from the adjacent rooms....could hear people talking and plumbing noise. Also, there was a lot of construction on both sides of the property that was quite noisy and actually shook the room. But, we still enjoyed it! Just something to be aware of.
Very nice facility and friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and the price reasonable.
The room was very small with a full size bed (expecting at least a queen) and a very hard mattress. We didn't spend much time in the room because of that. However, the Inn itself is very pretty and offered a nice continental breakfast. The room was very clean. Booked though Expedia and seems to have changed the booking to a lower level room.
Very nice staff ,good continental breakfast ,close to ferry so you could hop on and go to Nantucket room was clean and good view
Loved that breakfast, snacks and drinks were provided at no extra cost. Special thank you to Sandi for being so welcoming & hospitable
Great location, Helpful friendly staff, nice views, cookies and hot chocolate to greet you thanks
Two nights, off season.. total was $731. So let me break down what this gets you. The area itself seems safe but it is run down. The hotel is walking distance about 10 minutes from a few restaurants and the ferry. The hotel itself is dated and needs maintenance. Immediate surrounds consist of construction and port authority as well as a few shanty apartments and homes. The resort fee needs to be removed as they are charging separately for wifi and water- common things that should be included in the room fee and it is at other hotels but particularly at this price. There were zero smores kits. Zero use of pool as it is cold so there is zero use of towels. The garden view is misleading. Unfortunately this hotel is price gouging its patrons.
The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly ! I was worried about arriving later than anticipated the night we were checking in, but Mary at the front desk assured me that she would be there whatever time we arrived ! She gave my children and puppy treats on arrival. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was lovely. The views were beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer ! We will definitely be back!
not everything it used to be, but still very nice
Nice stay with excellent front desk staff. This play used to offer an excellent fully stocked breakfast, but no longer does. We also did experience a weak wifi signal which made streaming Netlix impossible at times. The views of the harbor from this complex can't be beat.
The location is on the water (though not on a beach). Location is great, just a short walk to Main St. Rooms are large and beds comfortable. Some of the lower floor rooms in the 2 story units are dark. There is plenty of free parking.
Nice harbor location with room decks to watch the ferry and other boats
Amazing stay
My family and I were in town last minute because my father had to be hospitalized at Cape Cod Hospital, which is across the street from the Anchor In. I cannot speak highly enough of the service and comfort at this stay; we were under incredibly stressful circumstances, and the kindness, flexibility, and warmth that Mary, Sandi, and the entire staff showed us was unparalleled. The rooms are beautiful, the location is great, and I can't thank them enough.
Sandi and Mary at the front desk were great! Made us feel welcome! Loved our room, it was spacious, beautifully decorated. Enjoyed the “library” where there were cookies, coffee and other beverages one could enjoy by the fire. Also enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit overlooking the harbor. Truly relaxing!
The extra 40 dollar charge for things you would not use that are advertised as Free, parking, Wifi was useless, no tea in room only coffee, breakfast as continental not so, dissapointed.
Lower level garden view rooms do not have black out drapes. Hard to sleep due to outside lights
Lovely harbour front property, within walking distance of ferry terminals, bars and restaurants
Staff and stay were great!
Location was great, loved the atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating. Exactly what we were looking for in Cape Cod.
property was well kept and the rooms were basic but nice. The air conditioners was noisy. otherwise a nice stay.
Wonderful and quaint.
Great place to stay with kids and pets. Friendly stuff, Cindy if I remember, what was our receptionist who checked us in, she was excellent, gave us a good recommendation for dinner.
Very clean! Great location! Quaint and warm experience
Staff very nice.
Anchor in
This place was immaculate. Very impressed. Close to Main Street which is packed with amazing restaurants. The view was spectacular.
Nice!
The property was updated staff was excellent
Our 2 queen bed room was very spacious and clean. The balcony view overlooking the harbor was very nice. The property has ample parking with easy room access and is very centrally located. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.
Very nice hotel, well maintained and conveyor Main Street.
We had an excellent time at Anchor In! It was comfortable, clean, and the staff and service were amazing! The walk to the Hyline ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard was quick and beautiful! The view from the hotel was of the beautiful marina. We'll be back!
Nice hotel and close to everything
I selected this hotel for it's proximity to the hospital, and all of the positive reviews. I decided under the circumstances I would pay the extra money over the other hotels in the area. One night rate with taxes was $419 The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful. The room, however, was very disappointing. Dated and smelling of mildew, with one double bed. The bathroom floor was dirty- hairs - stains-etc. Lipstick smear on bathroom door. Dingy. Upon leaving I was told that I had a balance due to a "destination"charge" of $45. I had booked on Expedia so I must have missed that this fee would be due at check in. Total cost - $464 for one night. Lesson learned: Reviews don't always reflect reality.
Lovely place to stay in Hyannis
Such a lovely place to stay. The location is perfect for the harbour and ferry crossings to the Islands. The rooms are comfortable, our bed was very big. The TV was huge with many channels to chose from. The breakfast was continental style. The pool was lovely and loungers great. Some parts of the accommodation was a little tired but you’d get that anywhere. The handyman and staff generally were very sweet and accommodating. We’d definitely stay there again.
Super! They allowed me to check in 3 hours early!! So kind! Comfy beds and pillows. Great location!
The property was a very welcoming communal feel. A rare thing in a growing tourist area. Amenities are up to date and modern yet has the look of what old Cape Cod may have looked like. Sandi and the entire staff go above and beyond to make everyone comfortable, and aware of any sights or scenes you may find of interest. Definitely would recommend and Definitely will stay again if on the Cape.
The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nice size. Room and property have had some updates as it is an older property. Let's talk about how comfortable that bed was! It was so comfortable that i had to check the mattress to see what it was! Beautyrest. Great location to the ferry for Nantucket, restaurants, miniature golf, shopping, etc, and a beautiful view of the harbor. We didnt get to enjoy the patio area much because of the rainy weather. Keurig machines in the rooms were awesome to enjoy coffee in the mornings, and if you wanted more coffee pods, just visit the lounge area near the main lobby and grab some more. If you dont want housekeeping to clean your room each day, they will bring you a cute basket full of towels, TP, etc, and leave outside your door. Great stay!
Distinction fee are as much as paying for extra night, bathroom outdated, this place is absolutely not worth 400 bucks a night. Would not recommend it to anyone, that place used to be good not anymore.
Sandy was great she runs the place quite well and is part of the experience!
Nice stay
Nice location, on the water. Next to big hospital, it was a little noisy due to construction.
I stayed just 1 night taking the Ferry the next day but the front desk staff were very welcoming to me and my dog. I am glad I canceled another hotel on Main street. Main street is worth a visit but I prefer being down by the water and the boats. It feels more like a vacation that way. I got the last room I think for July 4th weekend and it opened to the pool with a nice little patio, The room was clean, big tv, good size, fridge, coffee and the hallways were clean and cheerful. The best seafood restaurants were just a few blocks away. I recomend Baxters outdoor area with live music if you have a dog and the raw bar back area at the Black Cat also looked fantastic. Some of the Black cat is dog friendly not sure which parts. I will definitely stay here anytime I am in the area.
Charming Hotel
Very charming decor and atmosphere. Friendly staff. Gorgeous views. Would stay again.
Great place
We loved everything about our stay. So much so we rebooked to stay longer. Sandy in the front office went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. They have free cookies and lemonade in the afternoon and evening, breakfast available, a nice heated pool and a fire every evening. It’s very comfortable and you can’t beat the view from the balcony. Looking forward to hopefully returning next year.
Property and staff were great
Anchor In was such a nice place to stay! Sandi at the front started our visit with a helpful tour of the property, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. We will definitely be back!
This hotel was in excellent condition. Staff was super nice. Great location. Free parking. We would definitely stay again!
Nice and clean hotel in a very convenient location and friendly staff. A new hospital was under construction nearby and this was a bit of an eyesore, but it's not hotel's fault in anyway.
It’s right in the Harbor.
Nice and quiet. Easy walk to the ferries.
Very overpriced property. Feels like an old motel. A lot of equipment noise at night. Ridiculous “destination fee”. Not a pleasant experience.
Property is well maintained. The rooms are spacious. I liked their breakfast options for $ 11.95 per person. Beats going out looking for a place. Staff was helpful and caring. A great view of the harbor. Landscaping around the property very pretty.
It was a perfect room for us. Very clean and great location! Pool was great, and the views of the harbor were fabulous!
Staff was nice. Pool was great. Nice view of the harbor.
Overall i had a great stay. The room was a bit dated. The bed was very uncomfortable. The mini fridge smelled very musty and most likely had a bunch of mold in the seals. I wouldn't store anything in it. The staff was great and very welcoming. It is a convenient location with all sorts of restaurants and shops just blocks away.
I was told by staff there is a no pet policy on the second level of the inn but it was a lie. I love pets and in this case dogs but I saw two dogs where I was staying. Nothing against dogs but I don't want to pay good money to sleep where others let there pets stay. If I would have known I would have chosen to stay at another hotel. Very disappointed in the staff at Anchor Inn
Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere
Cozy location, will come back!
Peaceful & calm. Gaming in the library around the fireplace was nice. We miss hot breakfast and the firepit however.
Was not as nice as I expected, it was okay just nothing special
The rooms and facility are ice i side but outside could use a facelift. Looks unappealing.
Great! Our 3 time staying here and we have always enjoyed every minute of it! Perfect location and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!!
Not bad
Mary at reception was so friendly and welcoming. She provided me all the information I needed for my stay. The room was neat andheidi although the toilet cover and seat needed cleaning. As did the bathtub which was fill me and prevented me from wanting to shower in it. Luckily it was Just one overnight stay. I was supposed to have a harbor view But was placed further down the hotel so it was mostly a side view. I will say the beds are very comfortable and the sheets were clean. I love the huge tv. The hotel was very quiet overnight so made it easy to get a good night sleep. I would definitely return if the bathrooms and bedroom floors were cleaned.
Great hotel in excellent position to explore Hyannis, the islands and Cape Cod. Picturesque and handy to eating, walks and shopping as well as local buses.
The property is on a one-way street, so you have to go around a block or two to get to the ferry to Nantucket. You can walk to the ferry faster than you can drive there.
Great location right on the bay. Plenty of parking. Nice rooms. Friendly staff.
This was an excellent place to stay, and the Martha’s Vineyard ferry was a spectacle to see!
Sandi at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and a lovely person. My stay was short (late check in and early departure) so I didn’t enjoy all the amenities (pool was also not open yet) but location was ideal for me.
Great property, very well kept. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Location has a great view of the harbor. Would highly recommend
We love staying here. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. Great amenities. Good location. Nice to watch the ships come in and out of the harbor.
Clean and friendly and easy check-in.
Very nice place!
GREAT customer service!!! I made a reservation to stay at the Anchor Inn, and unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute because my work cohort got Covid. The staff at the Inn were extremely understanding and went out of their way to make sure that I wasn't charged for the room. I can't wait to rebook with them!
It was an ok experience the advertisement did not live up to the real experience

The staff are wonderful. The person who checked us in gave us a tour of the property and introduced the cleaning staff and told us what hard workers they are. It was like she was showing us around her home.
