Nice view and clean property

Room with a view to the ocean, right next to the gold course, nice environment surrounded.

Great size rooms and amazing ocean views. Very relaxing place to stay

Would stay again

It has a great view to the ocean even though we didn’t get the room faced to the ocean. We had one night stay and felt three beds were soft and itchy, especially one of the single bed which you couldn’t see that person when you laid on the next bed. Also, since the bedroom was located on the side near the car park, it’s a bit noisy coz some customers came back late and kids hang in the car park. When we checkout, we noticed the facility ie., the pool (the reception didn’t introduce). Overall, I don’t think I would go back again

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. Short walk to the beach. Room was clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay again. Pool hours were only to 7pm. Wish they were later.

Family trip

Our stay at Amooran Motel was great. Owner was kind, gracious and helpful. Beds were comfy, bathroom and kitchenette were clean and modern. The door to the kids bedroom was jammed so we couldn't provide quiet or privacy when using the bathroom overnight. Lovely location and view.

Great ocean views

Property was easily found, great outlook, very clean and overall communication good, except for a parking issue which h was eventually rectified.

The outlook was breathtaking and the property was maintained beautifully…helpful at reception also.

Great location

A lovely property- staff very helpful & friendly. Lovely room with modern furnishings. I would say that a little bit of cob web removal would make the place absolutely pristine. Across the road from the golf club.

We thought it was very well organised, convenient and the scenery is excellent. The only problem we had was that we thought the shower system was a little inconvenient. For example is was had to get the correct temperature.

Spacious, modern and spotlessly clean unit with a brilliant outlook across golf course to the sea (not sure whether all units have the latter).

Whilst a little dated property was very clean and comfortable. And the view over golf course and ocean was lovely. Very friendly reception who made check-in very easy and enjoyable

The unit was very comfortable with a beautiful view. We found it to be very relaxing. The only problem was the beds were very soft but everything else was great

Comfortable and clean!

Property as per photos, in great location and VERY clean. Ground floor unit which was very easy to access and still had an amazing view. Comfortable bed and well equiped kitchen. It just proves that if you have the right cleaning company it is easy to maintain a high standard. We will defiantly be back. Even saw two Whales from our room and it was July!!

Very Clean Spacious great rooms will stay again

Friendly service & great location! Our room and the whole premises was clean and well maintained. We will definitely be returning, and have actually booked another holiday stay with Amooran.

Unfortunately, the rooms are not very well sound-insulated and we could hear other guests walking about and talking and therefore it was difficult to sleep at times.

Such a lovely place to stay

We enjoyed a lovely room with a terrace and fantastic views. Very comfortable, super clean rooms with all you need for a lovely stay. Fantastic pool and barby area. Sit on the verandah and watch the Whales go by. I would just bring my own pillow.

Just had a one night stop over the nice lady at the deck was friendly, the room was clean had a view of the water and the bed was comfortable would definitely stay again.

Issue with the hotel initially but good stay

We were not looking forward to our stay at Amooran as we had some issues with the hotel not refunding our deposit. We cancelled the booking we initially made, through Hotels.com, and then rebooked with everything the same just with a different credit card. Eventually the hotel agreed to only take $50 from the cancellation. So we went there with some trepidation about what the hotel was going to be like. We were pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back another time.

A delightful motel

The room was spacious, comfortable and very very clean. Even the balcony was very clean and not grubby like most other places. It was a pleasure to sit on the balcony enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the well kept pool and grounds. Check in was extremely Covid safe. A delightful place to stay and would definitely recommend.

This is a very well designed accommodation venue and we really appreciated the opportunity to sit comfortably outside with a view over the ocean. Very pleasant and comfortable room, well fitted out.

Lovely stay as always. Bed was insanely comfortable, view is spectacular, can’t fault it.

For a golf stay very nice. Clean and spacious. 100m walk to Narooma Golf Club. Would stay again.

Honest Review

Great location and nice sized room. Place felt dated and in need of a refurb. Wifi is decent but doesnt work well with tv smart functions. Came across multiple roaches in the room on consecutive days. Apart from that everything was fine. Cheaper price I would stay again.

Location was just perfect, views were spectacular and most importantly central to visit the surrounding towns.

Close to the golf club. We arrived late with a key arranged making it easy and no stress.

The floors were dirty. My feet got dirty walking on the floor so I put white socks on and they were black from just walking across the floor a few times

Very well kept modern apartments. Nestled in a quiet spot, with beautiful views of the ocean. I felt very comfortable here. Room had all the amenities. Shower had great pressure. Parking was easy. Short walk to the beach. If you have problems with stairs make sure you let them know as some of the rooms have 2 flights of stairs. Overall excellent, i would stay here again

The property position was great fantastic views across the Golf course and along the coast line .suite was very clean and spacious. The double booking of our room and the intrusion of guests having access to our room was concerning.. On two occasions access to our room was denied and had to be re activated..

Did not like overpowering ground cover perfume. Apart from this very much enjoyed our stay. Great ocean views from our room.

Lovely view across golf course to ocean. I stayed in the Family Room and it was very basic, barely 4*, a bit like a cabin at a caravan park. I think the other rooms may have been better. No HD TV channels on a TV barely bigger than my computer monitor. Hair dryer almost useless.

Nice Clean quiet comfortable room with views of the ocean and a short walk to the Golf Club for dinner. Only thing was the spa was out of order and the shower was cold (although I ended up having a nice hot bubble bath which I enjoyed).

The only downside was the unreliable internet access. One had to log in repeatedly, and in the morning, there was no access at all. Apart from that, everything was fine, though I had no in person contact with the owners/managers, as arrival and departure was contactless, due to Covid.
