Excellent choice and very helpful and pleasant personnel!

The room was clean and beautiful, breakfast was delicious.

The property was in character with the area. Within easy walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops and areas of historical interest.

Brilliant location. Historic building - enchanting atmosphere. Friendly staff that made our stay extra special. Recommend.

I will definitely stay here again. Everyone was helpful going the extra mile. Breakfast is scrumptious! Easy to find with notable towers nearby.

The hotel staff couldn’t been more accommodating. The service was excellent! They went far and above expectations. I would go and stay there again and would recommend them. The room was clean and very quiet.

Great hotel for discovering Verona old town

Lovely boutique hotel in an Italian classic style. Very friendly and attentive service.

Great location close to everything. Wonderful staff. We had to leave early and they packed a takeaway breakfast for us. Although it is next to Piazza Erbe, it is very quiet and we had great sleep. The breakfast is wonderfully prepared with many choices and fresh fruits. We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Verona. Great location, right in the heart of Verona. Comfortable rooms kept spotlessly clean, and really helpful, friendly staff who made you feel welcome. The lady who looked after us at breakfast (embarrassed I didn't get her name) was brilliant. The hotel enhanced our stay in this beautiful city.

This turned out to be the perfect place to stay in Verona’s old city (Citta Antica), located equidistant between the two sets of visitor sites I had identified as those I would like to see. And Giovanna, who greeted me warmly from behind the front desk the moment I walked in the door, was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. She brought coffee and pastries to my room to help settle me in. She provided me with a map, circled the sites I wanted to visit, laid out the best routes to take, and told me of things not to miss along the way. All with her big, beautiful smile throughout!

The breakfast was nice but laundry service was not in operation on the weekend beds were extremely hard and pillows were very flat easy walkable around the area

Bed was not so confortable

Would be great if they had waters like any other hotel at least on the first day. But they did not provided anything at all

Albergo Mazzanti is very central and quiet. The beds were firm and wonderful. The breakfast was very good. The hotel desk is staffed 24 hours - my wife and I do not speak Italian and everyone was very helpful.

Though for older person to get there by boat if you don’t like boats, but so convenient to everything once you’re there. Worth toughening out.

Fair hotel in Fair Verona

This hotel has great location in Verona. Rooms aren’t large but that is to be expected. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good, included all the expresso you could have.

Top Notch Hotel! Loved my Experience!

This hotel was a last minute booking and I could not be more pleased with my experience. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot with great water pressure, the windows opened for a little fresh air and the location of the hotel was perfect. Loved the elevator (old knees). The staff were superb! They made sure I had a taxi the morning I left, even tho there was a strike (taxis) going on at that time. They offered bits of information to make my stay more interesting. The woman in the breakfast area (sorry, I did not catch her name) was a delight! She always had a smile and greeting and made sure everyone had what they needed. She remembered my drink preference after the first day! The location was right in the middle of most 'must see' tourist sites. The Christmas market was minutes from the hotel door. The area around the hotel was clean and I felt perfectly safe as a solo traveler. I highly recommend this hotel and should I ever be fortunate enough to return to Verona, I will definitely stay here again!

Great location. Very cute and roomy suite.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had excellent air conditioning - which we certainly needed. the breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice. It is in a very convenient location for the shops, sights and restaurants. We had a lovely stay and would happily go back.

Great hotel

The hotel was in the perfect location for setting all the sites in Verona. Just a couple of minutes away from restaurants and places of interest. We arrived early and were allowed into our room straight away. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the lady helping at breakfast was always smiling and made a great coffee. If I visit Verona again I would certainly stay here.

Great location, close to everywhere, nice building........

The ladies at the front desk were so helpful. This hotel, is located right next the piazza d’Erbe. Exactly where you want to be, to walk around Verona. Suggest you take a taxi from the railway station. It is otherwise a 2kilometer walk. Loved the breakfast. Again everyone was so nice and friendly.

Nice hotel in great location

Location was the winning point. Everything was close to reach by foot. The staff was amazing, especially the lady that was serving breakfast on 25/03 and 26/03 and the lady that welcomed us on 24/03. The hotel was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. The only bad thing was the sound of a fan/fans outside of the hotel on the roof which was making a lot of noise through the whole night. I could hear it through the closed windows and could not sleep properly. Also, the sound of broken glass when someone (probably the restaurant staff) emptied their bins full of bottles has woken us a few times. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again however It would be even better if above issues could be eliminated.

Perfect location in the old town. I was able to walk everywhere easily and loads of places to eat and drink on the doorstep. I had a single room which was very comfortable, a modern bathroom and everything I needed. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and spacious room for 3

Beautiful and spacious, the room was great to cool down after a hot day in the streets of Verona. The air condition worked great and the location was very close to the main attractions although quiet at night. The front desk was very helpful to get us transportations to the airport and whatever we needed during our stay, thanks to Elisa.

We loved our room! It was clean, dark at night, quiet, and most importantly in Italy in the summer, had working AC

Best Hotel in Verona

I have stayed many times in Verona - and now I have found the best place to stay - Albergo Mazzanti. I highly recommend!

Best place in Verona!

Really a perfect place with great people!

The rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable, the temperature was good. Staff are excellent and very helpful. They arranged a taxi for an early flight and were always very pleasant. The location is perfect and although it is near a busy square the hotel itself is on a quiet street and the windows are pretty effective at keeping out any noise.

Superb location, wonderful staff

We spent 4 nights here in late October and were very pleased with the location, the room and the service. The entrance is just a few steps away from the heart of the city, but it is tucked away so that noise and crowds are not a problem. Our corner room (103) was beautiful and spacious and we’d have been comfortable staying here even longer. The included buffet-style breakfast was very nice, staffed by a very pleasant man who quickly brought and cheerfully replenished our cappuccini. Scrambled eggs and bacon as well as a variety of cold cuts, breads, pastries and juices made for a substantial beginning to an active day. The front desk staff were very helpful, in particular Elisa who was there most days. She called taxis for us, recommended and booked restaurant reservations, and even phoned ahead to our next destination to find an English-speaking person who could speak with me about a guided tour in English the next morning. We would gladly stay here again on any future visit to Verona.

Very close to center of town. Could not drive to hotel. Finding a temporary double parking place close to the hotel, finding the hotel, an overnight parking place and walking a long way back to the hotel took 3 stressful hours. Do not book this hotel if you have a car.

Short break to Verona. Be prepared for alot of noise as in very busy area made even more busy as there was a festival on. Hotel was just perfect for us and Verona very easy to get around. Clock starts striking at 7 but we still loved our time in Verona.

Amazingly quiet in the heart of Verona

Deep in the twisty maze that is the old part of Verona, nested among the 13th and 15th century buildings you find this small, peaceful hotel. It has been recently remodeled. Except for a Friday evening when there was an event on the plaza it was surprisingly quiet, and the event shut down promptly on schedule, so it wasn't a problem. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Being on old streets it's a bit hard to get to - you'll either need a cab or wheel luggage through the crowds on rough stone. Lots of sights within a few blocks.

Friendly staff and excellent location. There is only the reception or dining room to sit away from your bedroom.

A good comfortable hotel in an awesome location. Don’t expect 5 star inclusions because it’s not. It a basic but very good comfortable hotel definitely worth a shot.

A hidden gem

Excellent hotel and brilliant location. Total oasis from the heat and we would definitely return. A little hard to find if driving so be very clear about directions before you reach city centre but once there excellent valet parking at €25 a day and we’ll worth it given the labyrinth of one way streets.

The room was fairly spacious and cool and the bed was large and comfortable. It is a little dated but served us fine for two nights. The breakfast buffet was generous but also slightly tired however the hotel is incredibly central and in a perfect position to explore the city.

A Very Good Hotel in the Heart of Verona

The Hotel Albergo Mazzanti is in the heart of Verona, only steps from the Piazza Delle Erbe and the Piazza Dei Signori, and walking distance to all of Verona's historic sites and museums. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small, but tidy, and the bathroom was clean and very nice. I would stay here again when I visit Verona.

Overall Good stay

Good location in central Verona. The hotel was clean, but a little spartan. The hotel staff were very friendly. The only real negative was the early morning trash pickups from the restaurants in front of the hotel. Who would of thought that wine bottles make so much noise. Overall though we would stay here again and can't say enough about how much we enjoyed Verona.

I loved the key card slots, you hit a button for do not disturb instead of messing around with a door knob hanger. The breakfast had plenty of gluten free options!

Immaculate hotel in centre of Verona

Immaculate hotel, super spacious room, nice staff, great breakfast variety. We arrived earlier than expected and were pleasantly surprised when we could check in early without prior notice. Efficient staff and brilliant location for seeing the whole of Verona. Only a half hour walk from the train station, easy to stroll.

Right in the center of it all.... great walking to restaurants, shops , sites... we walked everywhere to the sites with 8 to maximum 20 minuets from the hotel

A lovely hotel in an ideal location

This hotel is situated in what we considered the ideal location for our 5 night stay in Verona. It is just a 10 minute walk to the Piazza Bra and Verona arena and there are numerous great restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was really nice, our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of a good standard with a wide choice of food available - we certainly never felt the need for a lunch! .

Perfect Verona location

Albergo Mazzanti was the perfect choice for our visit to Verona. After arriving by taxi, we found the location to be ideal for all the sights and for exploring at will. Our rooms were spotless, breakfast was just right, and the staff welcoming. Loved our stay in Verona!

Lovely city hotel

Excellent in all respects . Lovely room , much larger than most city centre hotels and really well appointed. Huge comfortable double bed , beautiful furnishings , we had an excellent stay. The staff were helpful and professional . Perfect location , with easy walking distance to all main sights in Verona .

Ideal location, spacious spotless rooms

Hotel located centrally but in a quiet alley. While the common ground floor areas are cozy and sufficient, this hotel's strengths are to be found in its accommodation. The rooms and bathrooms are unbelievably spacious, tastefully setup, spotless and neat. Beds are huge and comfortable. TV is all in Italian except for the international news channels. Breakfast buffet had a decent variety on offer. Food was ample and tasty and the cappuccinos great. Staff was friendly and helpful. I don't think I 'll be looking into other hotels whenever I return to Verona. If the price is within your budget, look no further.

Small hotel in great location.

This was a lovely small hotel in the centre of Verona, near Piazza Delle Erbe. Quick taxi ride from station. Room was very comfortable, desk staff very helpful, and breakfast was good. Location was perfect to explore Verona on foot and lots of restaurants nearby. Was right next to Xmas market too. Would stay again.

Godd location.

The hotel is very central - a few steps from Piazza Erbe. Being so central, there is a little street noise at night, but nothing that stopped us sleeping well. Our bed was large and very comfortable and the room was spotless. However, we would have liked to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was good.It is reassuring to have 24 hour reception. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Quaint hotel in a fantastic location!

I was so happy with my experience at Albergo Mazzanti! The hotel is in a great location. It is just behind a large piazza on a small street so it is very quiet! The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with a huge variety of food available. My only wish is that I would have had more time in Verona at this great hotel! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Great place to stay

A perfect location for visiting Verona. Parked the car nearby and walked everywhere. Staff was very helpful in locating great restaurants that were kid friendly. Only downside is the 15euro per day parking that is 800m away. Also really tough to find the first time.

Small comfortable hotel in the heart of Verona.

We enjoyed our stay in room 205, the room was very comfortable, but there was not enough adequate lighting. The buffet breakfasts were substantial and catered to all tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful.
