This is a picturesque hotel in the wine country in Alsace, simple but clean with a very nice staff.

The hotel was impeccably clean and the quality of our accommodation (room, bathroom, separate WC) was very good and well fitted out. The restaurant offered a choice of set menus and a la carte and we noticed that there was a good childrens' menu. Our food was excellent and beautifully presented. Drinks were reasonably priced and there was an extensive wine list. The continental breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly, polite, helpful and very attentive. I plan to stay at this hotel again. It is difficult to find fault with this hotel, my one small complaint is that hot water took a while to emerge ftom the taps, i suspect our room on the second floor might be at the end of the pipe run! The village of St Hippolyte is delightful.

Lovely hotel for a night's stay

We were lucky enough to park right outside the hotel when we arrived. The reception was extremely friendly. The balcony opened up to a beautiful view! The breakfast was rich enough for the price and the lady serving there was extremely friendly and nice.

Weekend Siteseeing Stay

Along with our college-age son, we spent two wonderful nights here on a weekend site-seeing trip when he visited us after our recent relocation to Europe. The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the quaint town of Saint Hippolyte making it an ideal location to start exploring the town on foot or by car to the other nearby beautiful towns; the wonderful Chateau du Haut Konigsbourg is very close by but is definitely a drive-to location as it is on top of the high ridge overlooking the town. We were able to park in the lot of the cathedral across the street but I'd imagine in the peak tourist season parking becomes a challenge. We had two large and comfortable adjoining rooms with their own full bathrooms; our bathroom was particularly large. The bed was very comfortable but we found the pillows to be a bit too small for our liking. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner, breakfast, and snack / nightcap; the food was excellent and service fantastic! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and know that we will be returning either by ourselves or when other visitors want to explore the Alsace wine region.

Very good

It's a very nice village and easy to have a walk in the vineyards. Hotel was good with friendly service and reasonably priced. Only small negative is the room was a little dated.

Splendid family hotel

We often stay here when we are in Alsace. Comfortable, friendly and good value. Good food in their restaurant but note the hotel is closed during Wednesday as is the restaurant. We were caught out this time but there is a new restaurant opposite which is excellent. Good competition.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the vineyard

Excellent, family-run hotel in the heart of the Alsace vineyards. Very pleasant rooms, friendly staff, very good restaurant specialising in Alsatian cuisine with good local wines. Decent prices for both food and wine. Parking can be tricky but free. Worth checking if it is a rest day as the restaurant is closed. Alternatives are fine but part of the pleasure of the hotel is dining in. During vine harvest, local grapes are free at reception and delicious.

Hotel accogliente, tutto positivo

Ho appena soggiornato due notti con un'amica. L'hotel è graziosissimo. Avevamo una camera spaziosa, con frigobar e il necessaire per il bagno. Niente da dire sulla pulizia, ci siamo trovate molto bene. Ottima la colazione abbondante. La ragazza alla reception è veramente accogliente e molto gentile. Direi tutto molto positivo. Ottima la posizione per visitare i paesini dell'Alsazia.

Stemningsfyldt hotel

Fin belliggehed i forhold til vinruten. Vi havde to enkeltsenge på et dobbeltværelse, det var træls. Morgenmaden ikke noget at skrive hjem om

Venligt personale på dette meget autentiske Alsace Hotel. Alt var som det skulle være, selvom hotellet er ældet. Det var rent og der var tilhørende morgenmad som var typisk fransk let, det var udemærket.

Sehr schönes Hotel und Restaurant

Das A la Vignette ist ein schön gelegenes Hotel, umgeben von Weinbergen in eine kleinen historischem Ort. Das Restaurant bietet gute regionale Küche an und die Mitarbeiter kümmern sich um jeden Wunsch. Wenn wir wieder in der Region sind, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant bietet gute elsässische Küche zu moderaten Preisen. Für Langschläfer problematisch: Pünktlich um 7:00 Uhr wird man durch das Glockengeläut der Kirche nebenan geweckt.

Trés joli hôtel situé au bord de la route, mais calme cependant. Très bon accueil et magnifique buffet pour le petit-déjeuner.

Très bon hôtel, je recommande

Logement très correct et très propre. L’accueil et les services ont été irréprochables. La chambre confort était spacieuse. La cuisine du restaurant de l’hôtel était plutôt simple, mais très bonne, le rapport qualité-prix était excellent. Quant au petit déjeuner, il était digne de ce nom! Le lieu était idéal pour visiter d’autres petits villages aux alentours, est Saint Hippolyte en soi est un mignon petit village également.

Joli village et hôtel très confortable. L'accueil est très sympathique, les chambres sont spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et le restaurant propose des plats très bons (à base de produits locaux) et à un bon rapport qualité prix.

Schönes Hotel in reizvoller Umgebung

Ein fantastisches Hotel in einem kleinen Elsässer Dorf. Die Bewirtung ist einmalig und äusserst aufmerksam. Das Nachtessen im Hotel sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen ist hervorragend, wie auch preiswert. Gute Auswahl an Weinen.

Séjour familial en Alsace

Hôtel typique où l'on mange très bien. Personnel accueillant, hôtel propre. Petit bémol concernant la déco de la chambre et particulièrement la moquette qui mériterait d'être changée.

Absolut zufrieden

Das Comfort Doppelzimmer für 84 Euro die NAcht war großzügig, das Bad beinahe luxuriös, das Hotelteam war zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit, die Ausstattung des Zimmers bestens. Über die Küche kann ich nichts sagen , habe dort nicht gegessen. Insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

Liten mysig by att bo i, inte alls så turistiskt som Riquewihr. Brukar inte äta på middag på hotell annars, men här var det riktigt bra.

Un peu triste

L'hôtel est joli mais il y avait peu de monde, un peu triste, à 19:00h la réception est fermée. Le WiFi ne marchait pas très bien.

Réveillez à 06:00 par le carillon de l'église qui n'en finissait pas de tinter... dur, dur quand on est en congé. Sinon hotel nickel, très propre et personnel performant même si trop discret. Le village est superbement situé sur la route des vins et de nombreuses caves vous invitent à déguster les nectars d'Alsace.

C'est la seconde fois que nous venons dans cet hôtel pour son charme et l'accueil vraiment sympathique !

Très bon séjour en nature

Le personnel nous à très bien accueilli, le confort des chambres est là, avec une décoration sommaire. Nous avons mangé 2 soirs au restaurant où nous nous sommes régalés, avec de très bons conseils sur le vin. Nous reviendrons !

Hyggeligt hotel i en dejlig rolig og smuk by. God og venlig/hjælpsom betjening. Godt morgenbord.

Fint familjehotel

Gammalt charmigt hotel mitt i byn. Blandad nivå på engelskan (vi möttes första dagen av en tant som pratade franska och några ord tyska), rent och ganska rymliga rum. Frukosten ingick inte men var riktigt bra med franska mått mätt.
