With the convergence of mainstream awareness and adoption of NFTs with the extensibility of what NFT ownership can now allow, it's an exciting time to launch an NFT program. The possibilities of what NFTs can do, now and in the future, means that Travala.com can be creative about how we use them and build to promote the value of being both a Travala.com user and AVA holder.

Some companies have launched travel experiences via NFTs, and even well-known travel brands like Rimowa have tried their hand at digital collectibles. However, none have launched an NFT program as ambitious as the one outlined in this proposal.

If the grant is approved, Travala.com will make an explosive entry into the NFT space. In doing so, we will drive value back to loyal users of Travala.com and AVA token holders.

Target Outcomes

Travala.com wants to launch an NFT program that provides Travala.com users and AVA token holders the following:

• Airdropped NFTs as part of a new "Proof of Travel" program
• Loyalty rewards for participating in the program
• One-of-a-kind travel experiences that money can't buy NFT auctions
• An open edition yearly travel pass

The previous will only be given to those using Travala.com and incentivizes the use of AVA for booking travel on Travala.com.

The expected outcomes of the program are:

• A symbiotic relationship between the NFT program, AVA and Travala.com so that growth in one leads to growth in the others
• More incentives for booking travel on Travala.com which will lead to an increase in booking revenue and user loyalty
• A novel NFT use case within the travel space that will garner publicity and attention from media and the travel industry
• More AVA purchased and locked up by users to participate in the program
