As announced in this post, Travala.com will support the AVA token swap on the Ethereum (ERC-20) network. The token swap information is as follows:
- On Monday 28 August at 03:00 AM UTC, deposits and withdrawals of AVA on the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP-2) and BNB Smart Chain (BEP-20) to and from the platform wallet and AVA Smart Program will be temporarily suspended to perform the swap. This suspension is expected to last approximately 24–48 hours.
- Travala.com will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding AVA in the platform wallet and the AVA Smart Program.
- During this time, users will not be able to use the platform wallet on Travala.com for any services on the platform.
- After the swap is complete, AVA (BEP-2) and AVA (BEP-20) tokens will assume AVAOLD as the token name, with the new AVA (ERC-20) token assuming the AVA token name.
- Users who had existing AVAOLD (BEP-2 or BEP-20) tokens on the platform wallet or AVA Smart Program at the time of the swap, or users who deposit AVAOLD tokens on the BEP-2 and BEP-20 networks to the platform wallet following the swap, will be able to swap these AVAOLD tokens for new AVA (ERC-20) tokens on the platform on a 1:1 basis.
- Withdrawals of AVAOLD (BEP-2 & BEP-20) tokens from the platform wallet will not be supported, as these tokens will no longer have any token utility. Only the new AVA (ERC-20) tokens will be available to withdraw following the swap.
- A separate announcement will be made once the token swap has been completed and the deposits of AVAOLD (BEP-2 & BEP-20) and withdrawals of the new AVA (ERC-20) tokens are open.
