Year-on-Year Growth Despite COVID-19

Below is our monthly report for October 2020;

Total revenue for the month of October was $521,898 which includes hotel bookings, flight bookings, and listing fees. This represents a month-on-month increase of 35% compared to September and a staggering 387% year-on-year growth compared to October 2019, making this the best month so far for Travala.com.

The total number of room nights booked was 1,769, up over 60% compared to October last year.
Over 387% year-on-year revenue growth compared to October last year.
16% of all bookings in October were paid in the native AVA token, making it the second preferred crypto payment option after Bitcoin (BTC).
75% of all bookings were paid with cryptocurrencies setting a new record for total bookings paid with cryptocurrencies.
New record number of Smart members with 2,059 as of 31st October.
A total of 8,294,000 AVA are locked representing almost 20% of the circulating supply.

October was a busy month for partnerships and product development that saw Travala.com joining forces with Tripadvisor’s Viator to add over 400,000 Tours and Activities worldwide, and other industry-leading blockchain projects such as Fantom, Zilliqa and Ocean.

We launched new versions of our mobile apps on iOS and Android, released our Q4 Roadmap, deployed AVA on Binance Smart Chain, announced the Travel Tokens, and released Travel credits which is a key component of our corporate travel accounts and the base layer for our long-anticipated Travel Gift Cards product.

AVA Smart Program Update

Get up to 13% Savings on travel bookings with the AVA Smart Program

The AVA Smart Program offers up to 5% discount off the listed prices together with up to 5% loyalty reward after you have completed your stay. Plus, get an additional discount of up to 3% when you complete your purchase in full with AVA. It works on holding a tiered amount of AVA in your platform wallet. When activated it applies to hotel and accommodation bookings that have the Smart Icon available.
