As we move into 2020, we wanted to thank you all for your support and give you an update on our main achievements for 2019, as well as give you a window into the future for Travala.com. 2019 was a year of significant progress, with Travala.com laying solid foundations for the future.

Among many other achievements, during 2019, we delivered significant improvements in several key areas, such as our platform user interface and user experience and the utility of the AVA token on Travala.com. Moreover, we secured capital from leading international investors, migrated from NEO to Binance Chain, rapidly scaled our team, positioned Travala.com as the leading blockchain-based travel booking platform setting ourselves apart from the competition, secured several major partnerships, and grew our user base, traffic, and revenues by over 10x, while consistently promoting the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies.

Staying hungry will be critical to disrupt our industry. Our Vision is to keep building!

Below is our monthly report for January 2020;

Overall booking revenue for the month of January 2020 was up by over 16.2% month-on-month.

The total number of room nights booked was 1,755 which is an increase of 15% compared to December 2019.

Over 10% of all bookings in January were paid in the native AVA token, making it the second preferred crypto payment option behind BTC at 25%.

Travala.com metrics;

54% of the total bookings in January were paid with cryptocurrencies. Here is the breakdown of the payment methods:

AVA Smart Program Update

For those not familiar with the AVA Smart Program, it is based on a tiered rewards system. The higher the Smart level the greater your rewards will be.

As of the 31st January 2020, there are 820 Smart members in total which is an increase of 49% month on month. Smart Level members details are as follows:

Level 5 – 570
Level 4 – 62
Level 3 – 42
Level 2 – 75
Level 1 – 71

A total of 3,313,500 AVA are locked within the AVA Smart Program which represents 9.05% of the circulating supply which is now 36,627,395 AVA.

Token Swap Update

As of 31st January 2020, a total amount of 39,531,552 AVA have been swapped from AVA (Nep5) to AVA (Bep2) which represents 64.4% of the 61,383,832 AVA total supply.
