1. Introduction
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the New Year Double Rewards Promotion (the “Promotion”). By entering into this Promotion, you agree to the Terms contained herein, and the terms and conditions accessible at www.travala.com/terms-and-conditions and https://www.travala.com/smart-terms (“Website Terms”). The Promotion is offered by Travala Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914 (“us”, “we”, “our”, or “Travala”). In these Terms, references to “you” or “Participant” shall mean any person or entity that enters into or participates in this Promotion.
2. Eligibility
The Promotion is open to residents of all jurisdictions, except where federal, state, or local laws prohibit residents from entering this Promotion, and is void to the extent prohibited by law. Participants must be over eighteen (18) years of age to enter the Promotion. Our employees, contractors, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, partners, and directors, as well as the immediate family members of the aforementioned persons, are ineligible to participate in the Promotion.
3. Entry Period
The Promotion begins on 1 January 2026 at 7:00 AM UTC and concludes on 15 February at 4:59 PM UTC (“Entry Period”). To enter the Promotion, eligible actions must be completed within the specified Entry Period, as determined by the timestamp of the transaction in Travala’s booking system.
4. The Promotion
The Promotion comprises two independent promotions:
Double Booking Rewards (“Promotion 1”):
Promotion 1 is open exclusively to all Smart Steel, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond members of the AVA Smart Program, who can receive giveback rewards equivalent to double their standard giveback reward rate applicable to their Smart membership tier on all travel products (“Double Booking Rewards”) by booking any flight, hotel, or activity on Travala with any payment method available on Travala during the Entry Period for any travel dates. Givebacks are calculated on the final price less any applicable service fees and taxes. For the avoidance of doubt, bookings purchased by eligible Participants in full with AVA will continue to receive an additional 3% discount on the final booking price during the Entry Period in addition to the Double Booking Rewards.
Smart Steel–Gold members will receive their Double Booking Rewards in AVA. Smart Platinum and Diamond members can choose whether to receive their Double Booking Rewards in AVA, Bitcoin, or Travel Credits. Double Booking Rewards will be credited to the Participant’s Travala account within twenty-four (24) to seventy-two (72) hours of the trip or activity being completed. We reserve the right to withhold rewards for up to sixty (60) days to investigate any irregularities. Each Participant can receive a total cumulative amount of Double Booking Rewards equal to US$2,000 (exclusive of standard givebacks), with multiple bookings allowed. Participants may upgrade their Smart membership during the Entry Period and will receive Double Booking Rewards calculated based on their upgraded membership tier, provided any bookings are purchased after upgrading their Smart membership. Double Booking Rewards will not be issued for (a) bookings that are cancelled by you or any third party for any reason, including carriers, accommodation providers, or activity providers (b) ‘No-show’ bookings where the Participant fails to check in or board, regardless of whether a refund is issued; or (c) bookings where the stay, flight or activity data cannot be verified by us or our partners.

Double Referral Rewards (“Promotion 2”):
Participants can enter Promotion 2 by referring a new user via the Invite Program (“Invitee“) during the Entry Period to receive an additional US$25 Bitcoin reward each (“Double Referral Rewards”) on top of the standard US$25 Bitcoin reward each to their respective Travala accounts. The Invitee must book accommodation on Travala with a minimum value of US$400 using any payment method for any travel dates in order for both the Participant and Invitee to receive their Double Referral Rewards within twenty-four (24) hours of the Invitee completing their stay. There is no limit for the amount of Double Referral Rewards a Participant can receive for Promotion 2.
Participation in Promotion 2 is subject to verification. We reserve the right to disqualify any Participant or Invitee and revoke all associated rewards (including standard invite rewards) if we determine, at our sole discretion, that there has been (a) fraudulent activity, including but not limited to the use of fake identities, disposable email addresses, or bot or scripted interactions; (b) self-referrals, including the creation of multiple Travala accounts by a single individual or the use of aliases; (c) organised manipulation, such as circular referral schemes, collusion between Travala accounts, or the solicitation of referrals through paid advertising or incentives not approved by us; or (d) abuse of the spirit of Promotion 2, or any other exploitation as determined by us. For the avoidance of doubt, standard invite rewards and terms will apply for both the Participant and Invitee, as specified in the Invite Program, in addition to the Double Referral Reward.
5. Travel Credit and Promo Credit Terms
The following terms apply to Travel Credits offered in Promotion 1 if selected by the Participant:
- Travel Credits may only be used to book flights, hotels, and activities on the Travala platform.
- Travel Credits are denominated in United States Dollars (USD), i.e. 1 Travel Credit = 1 USD.
- Travel Credits received as giveback rewards (including the Double Booking Rewards) do not have an expiration date.
- Travel Credits will not be substituted for cash, another cryptocurrency, or any other form of consideration under any circumstances. Such requests may result in the forfeiture of the Travel Credits, at our sole discretion.
- Travel Credits are non-transferrable. If you attempt to exchange Travel Credits with another Travala member or anyone else, you risk the forfeiture of your prize and termination of your Travala account.

6. Your Responsibilities
Participants are solely responsible for all taxes, expenses or costs related to the Promotion, including without limitation any and all local, state, and federal taxes. Participants are advised to consult with a tax professional regarding their obligations, if applicable. No tax advice or assistance will be provided by us.
If a Participant is found to be ineligible, illegitimate, or otherwise in violation of these Terms or the Website Terms, whether discovered during or after the Entry Period, (a) any unredeemed rewards received as part of this Promotion may be forfeited (b) where rewards have already been distributed, the value of such rewards shall be deemed a debt immediately due and payable by you to us. You expressly authorise us to, without notice, set off such debt against any assets held in your Travala account (including but not limited to Travel Credits or any digital assets). If your Travala account balance is insufficient, you remain liable to reimburse us for the deficit forthwith upon demand. Receipt of the rewards offered in this Promotion is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
7. Rights We Reserve
We reserve the right to cancel the Promotion or amend these Terms at any time and without prior notice. We also reserve the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any entry at any time at our sole discretion, including but not limited to where individuals tamper with or attempt to tamper with the operation or entry process of the Promotion, or otherwise violate these Terms or the Website Terms. By entering this Promotion, you represent and warrant that you are eligible to participate in the Promotion and agree to accept our decisions as final and binding as they relate to the rules of this Promotion.
8. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
By entering this Promotion, you agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Travala, its subsidiaries, representatives, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, successors, agents, assigns, directors, employees, contractors, and officers from and against any and all claims, liability, losses, damages, deficiencies, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of any kind (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and the costs of enforcing any indemnification under these Terms) arising out of or in connection with (i) your participation in the Promotion; (ii) the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any awarded Prize or any portion thereof; (iii) any technical failure, including but not limited to issues with transmissions, phone, or internet service availability; (iv) unauthorised interference or tampering with the any part of the entry process or the Promotion; or (v) any electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
9. Governing Law
THESE TERMS AND THE PROMOTION ARE GOVERNED BY AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE. You agree, as a condition of participating in this Promotion, that any dispute, controversy or claim between you and us and/or our subsidiaries, representatives, affiliates, partners, advertising and promotion agencies, successors, agents, assigns, directors, employees, contractors, and officers,arising out of or in connection with these Terms and the Promotion (“Dispute”) shall first be attempted to be resolved confidentially and in good faith by Contacting Us. If the Dispute cannot be resolved through such manner, the Dispute shall be individually resolved exclusively before the courts of Singapore without regard to any choice or conflict of laws rules, without resorting to any form of class action.
10. Privacy Policy
Any data or information that you submit with an entry shall be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
