Since 2017, Travala has paved the way for a new generation of travellers, connecting the worlds of travel and Web3. As the industry has matured and evolved over the last eight years, so too have we. Today, we proudly unveil our new logo: a future-focused design that boldly encapsulates our mission and creates a welcoming passageway for all travellers without borders or restraints.

At Travala, we believe in the freedom of movement. Humans are seekers, and it is this need to explore the universe that drives us forward in the pursuit of the unknown. It’s why we’ve underpinned the transformative nature of travel with the power and ideals of blockchain technology, breaking down conventional borders and expanding the world to seek the outer limits of what travel means, push on its dimensions, and build something truly global.

These principles are the driving force behind not only our new logo, but our entire refreshed platform and brand image. From the updated bright colours and strikingly distinct designs down to the font and icons, every part of Travala tells a story of exploration, captivation, and valiancy.

Our new logo connects our current world with the future. Between the here and there, we reveal the space in between: a place where unforgettable journeys beckon, right here on Travala.

The logo comprises three intersecting globes, representing our roots in both travel and Web3, while simultaneously showcasing our continued commitment to advancing Web3 travel as pioneers in the industry.

The contours of the intersecting globes also double as airplanes flying east and west: an homage to our global coverage of over 3,000,000 travel products.

The logo will gradually roll out across the website and other channels over the coming weeks.

We imagine Travala as a physical space for our community of travellers passing through—a lounge where you can take a moment to reflect, unwind, and plan your next adventure.

These spaces are expansive, wanderlust-inspiring, and slightly unconventional, at times including a variety of incongruous landscapes in a single vista (see the iceberg in the back-left corner below co-existing harmoniously with verdant foliage?).

This is purposely done to create a unique, otherworldly feel, derived from our ethos of breaking down conventional barriers in the travel industry and bringing previously unconnected worlds together.

Our updated designs are reminiscent of the rich world of hotel cards with notes to guests, maps on backs of matchbooks, and pleasing ephemera that evokes a nostalgia for the service industry.

We’ve incorporated these touches of physicality to our designs as a bridge between the digital and physical realms, with Travala functioning as the passageway that facilitates the start of every journey.

Colours

The updated primary colour palette utilises mint, green, and pink. Combined, these colours create a gradient evoking the imagery of a rising dawn.

Of course, the iconic Travala purple has also been prominently retained throughout the brand as a primary colour in a nod to our origins.

For a pop of colour, we utilise neon green, blue and light red as our secondary colours. These stand out against our primary colours for areas like buttons, cards, and other areas that demand attention.

VIP Merch Packs

With the new logo now unveiled, active Smart Diamond members who had a Founders Edition Travel Tiger NFT connected to their account at the snapshot date of Monday, 9 March at 7:00 AM UTC have now received an email in their inbox with steps on how to claim their VIP Merch Pack.

Members who won VIP Merch Packs by being drawn as the winners of bonus task campaigns or other eligible marketing campaigns have also received an email with the VIP Merch Pack claim form.

Each eligible Diamond member and campaign winner will be entitled to one VIP Merch Pack. Having multiple connected Travel Tiger NFTs, or being an eligible Diamond member as well as the winner of a campaign, will not result in multiple VIP Merch Packs.

Eligible members must complete the claim form emailed to them by 31 March 2026.

Depending on your location, VIP Merch Packs are expected to be delivered within 1–2 months from 31 March 2026. Delivery fees may apply to certain locations.

This brand refresh has been a long time in the making. The launch of the new logo marks the completion of the main page updates, with the booking experience for all products updated with the new branding elements from start to finish.

Work continues on secondary pages to align them with the updated branding. As always, we’ll continue making adjustments and improvements across all pages on the platform as time goes on.

We’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 8+ years with our original branding, and even more excited about what the future holds with our new branding. Whether you’ve been with us for 8 days, 8 months, or 8 years, thank you for being part of the journey so far.
